Audio Engineer for all needs Live and Studio
Live Sound
I specialize as a monitor engineer. This is because, as a musician, I can help give each band member what they need in their mix. I am comfortable using both wedges and in-ears. I prefer using in-ears as i don’t have to fight stage noise and give the musicians exactly what they want in their mixes to allow them to deliver the best performance possible. I have done work with The Runarounds, Billy Bellino, Axel Ellis, and more.
At front of house, I listen to the band’s notes they have given that they want their sound to be. I also work closely with the production manager so we know what we are walking into on any given day, from 200-cap rooms to 2,500-cap rooms.
I am comfortable on a multitude of consoles. I am most comfortabe on Yamaha, Allen & Heath, an Midas consoles. I have spent time on other consoles as well as some jobs I am walking into a new consle each day when We were just using the house consoles on tour.
Studio Work
I have done work in the studio as an engineer as well and not just a musician. I specialize in country and its sub-genres. I also worked on some pop during my time at Belmont and got comfortable with other styles as well.
I have my own setup in my house where I can do a lot of mix work at an affordable price. I have also spent time in Oceanway, REM, RCA, Quonset Hut, and Columbia Studio A. This is when myself and the artist envision full band live tracking. and this allows me more tools when I can use the hardware in that space to record a version with its processing so i can take it with me to mix elsewhere.
